Tim Forshee Wins IGA Retailer of the Year
Tim Forshee and the Bowling Green Price Less IGA #484 team have been named one of the nine 2024 Retailers of the Year by IGA.
The Retailer of the Year awards are the highest honors IGA bestows upon its retailer members. They are presented annually to grocers with the best-provided leadership and excellence in their communities. Forshee will be recognized at the IGA Awards of Excellence Ceremony on Monday, March 11, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
IGA CEO John Ross and Senior Vice President Retail and Business Development Doug Fritsch visited Price Less IGA on February 15 to get a firsthand feel for how the Forshee interacts with employees, customers, and the community. Based on information gathered during store visits, the committee will then select one IGA USA Retailer of the Year to receive the IGA International Retailer of the Year award at the IGA Awards of Excellence Ceremony.
“I am honored to be considered for IGA Retailer of the Year, representing a team and community that thrives on excellence,” Forshee said. “At the heart of our success lies an unwavering commitment to customer service, fostering loyalty among patrons who recognize and appreciate the exceptional experience we provide.”
Forshee said his team’s commitment has contributed to their positive sales increase of 13.89% over the past year.
Price Less IGA #484 has also partnered with various community-oriented organizations, including: Soky Patriots, which ensures school children have access to nourishing meals; the Stuff the Bus Foundation, which collects funds locally to provide school supplies to children; and the St. Teresa Food Pantry, which fights food insecurity.
